College of Fisheries Tripura Recruitment 2026
The College of Fisheries, Lembucherra, a constituent college of Central Agricultural University (CAU), Imphal, has announced a Walk-in Interview notification for engaging 01 Project Assistant on a purely contractual basis.
The appointment is co-terminus with the project titled “Conservation and Domestication of Wild Mushrooms of Tripura, North East India”. The initial appointment will be for 12 months, extendable for a further period of 8 months based on candidate performance and project continuation.

Eligibility Criteria
Essential Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Botany, Microbiology, or Biotechnology from a recognized university.
Desirable Qualification: Work experience in mushroom cultivation, field survey, laboratory work, and working knowledge of computers.
Age Limit: The upper age limit is 35 years as on the date of interview. Age relaxations apply as follows:
- SC / ST / Women Candidates: 5 Years relaxation (Up to 40 years)
- OBC Candidates: 3 Years relaxation (Up to 38 years)
