NRSC ISRO Recruitment 2026 – Apply Online for 41 Posts

The National Remote Sensing Centre (NRSC), an arm of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), has released an official recruitment notification (Advt. No. NRSC/RMT/1/2026) for 41 Temporary Research Personnel posts. Eligible candidates can submit their online applications from 1 August 2026 to 21 August 2026.

The National Remote Sensing Centre (NRSC), ISRO, operating under the Department of Space, Government of India, has officially announced 41 vacancies for temporary research personnel. The online application portal opened on 1 August 2026 and will remain active until 21 August 2026 up to 5:00 PM.

This recruitment drive offers researchers, engineers, and science graduates an opportunity to work on cutting-edge satellite data applications, Earth Observation, Artificial Intelligence, GIS, Climate Change, Agriculture, Hydrology, and Disaster Management across NRSC campuses in Hyderabad, Shadnagar, and various Regional Remote Sensing Centres (RRSCs).

NRSC Post-Wise Vacancy & Pay Structure

The 41 research positions and their respective monthly emoluments stand as follows:

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications:

• M.E. / M.Tech: Minimum 60% Marks or CGPA 6.5/10.
• M.Sc. / M.Sc. Tech: Minimum 65% Aggregate Marks or CGPA 6.84/10.
• B.E. / B.Tech: Minimum 65% Aggregate Marks or CGPA 6.84/10.
• B.Sc.: Minimum 60% Marks or CGPA 6.5/10.
• Junior Research Fellow (JRF): Relevant Master’s Degree with a valid NET / GATE / CSIR-UGC NET or equivalent National Level Examination score.

Age Limit & Relaxations

Maximum age criteria as on 21 August 2026 for each post code is as follows:

Age Relaxations: OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates get 3 years relaxation, SC/ST candidates get 5 years relaxation, and PwBD / Ex-Servicemen candidates receive relaxation as per Government of India rules.

Application Fee

Payment must be made online through the Bharat Kosh Payment Gateway. The application fee will be refunded to eligible exempted categories (Women, SC, ST, PwBD, Ex-Servicemen) who actually appear for the interview.

Selection Process

Selection for NRSC ISRO Recruitment 2026 will be conducted through shortlisting followed by a Personal Interview:

1. Screening and shortlisting of applications based on academic merit, qualifications, experience, and GATE/NET scores.
2. Personal Interview for shortlisted candidates.
3. Document Verification and Medical Fitness.
