CAU CPGSAS Recruitment 2026 – Walk-in for JRF & Field Assistant Posts
The College of Post-Graduate Studies in Agricultural Sciences (CPGS-AS), Central Agricultural University (CAU Imphal), Umiam, Meghalaya has released an official recruitment advertisement (No. CPGSAS/CAU-I/Project (DRSHNI)/2026) for the engagement of project research staff on a purely contractual basis. CAU CPGSAS Vacancy Details & Eligibility Criteria
The project research positions are temporary and co-terminus with the ISRO-funded project or may be terminated earlier based on the candidate’s performance. Detailed post requirements and qualifications are as follows:

Age Limit & Key Terms
- Age Limit: Maximum 35 years for male candidates and 40 years for female candidates. Age relaxation is applicable as per Government of India norms.
- Nature of Appointment: Purely on a contractual basis and co-terminus with the project.
- TA/DA: No TA/DA or official accommodation will be provided for appearing in the walk-in interview.
- No Objection Certificate (NOC): Candidates currently employed elsewhere must furnish an NOC from their current employer.
Required Documents to Submit
Candidates must attach scanned copies of original documents along with their Bio-data form and bring originals to the interview:
- Duly filled Bio-data proforma with a passport-size photograph.
- Marksheets and pass certificates from Class X onwards.
- Identity Proof (PAN Card / Driving License / Voter ID / Govt. ID).
- NET / GATE / National Level Examination qualification certificate.
- Past research experience certificates (if any).
- First page of published research papers (up to a maximum of 10 publications).
- No Objection Certificate (if currently employed).
