SSC MTS Result 2026 – Havaldar PET/PST Shortlist & Cut Off

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) declared the SSC MTS Result 2026 on 3 August 2026 for shortlisting candidates for the Havaldar PET/PST round. Check the category-wise cut-off, Guwahati CCA cut-off, and merit list details.

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) declared the result of the Computer-Based Examination (CBE) for the Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff and Havaldar (CBIC & CBN) Examination, 2025 on 3 August 2026. This declaration shortlists candidates specifically for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST) for the post of Havaldar.

Against the recruitment notice issued on 26 June 2025, a total of 36,19,834 applications were received, and 8,04,633 candidates appeared in the computer-based exam held from 4 February to 20 February 2026 across various examination centers. Since the exam was conducted in multiple shifts, normalized marks were used for evaluation as per official rules. Candidates who applied only for MTS posts should note that the result for MTS will be declared together with the final allocation after the Havaldar PET/PST is completed.

Cut-offs have been fixed separately for every Post-cum-CCA. For candidates from Assam who opted for Havaldar (CGST) under the Guwahati CCA (Code 35), the Session-II normalized cut-off marks stand as follows:

Tie Resolution Criteria

Where more than one candidate secured equal aggregate normalized marks in Session-II, the tie was resolved by applying the following criteria sequentially:

1. Normalized marks in General Awareness of Session-II.
2. Total normalized marks in Session-I.
3. Date of birth, giving preference to the older candidate.
4. Alphabetical order of names.

How to Check SSC MTS Result 2026?

Candidates can check whether their roll numbers appear in the Havaldar shortlist by following these steps:

1. Open the Havaldar Result PDF link provided in the Important Links section below.
2. The result document will open containing roll numbers arranged in numerical order.
3. Press Ctrl + F on a computer, or use the Find option in your PDF reader on a smartphone, and search for your roll number.
4. If your roll number appears in List-I, you are provisionally shortlisted for the Havaldar PET/PST stage.
5. Check the official result notice and Annexure-I to verify the cut-off marks for your respective category and CCA.
6. Save and download the PDF for future reference.
