RRB Group D Admit Card 2026 – City Intimation Slip and Admit Card

RRB Group D Admit Card 2026 releases from 31 July, four days before each exam. The city intimation slip is already live, exam date wise, for the CBT held from 3 to 21 August 2026.

RRB Group D Admit Card 2026

The Railway Recruitment Board has opened the city intimation slip link for CEN 09/2025, and the RRB Group D Admit Card 2026 will follow from 31 July 2026. Candidates who applied for the 22,195 Level-1 vacancies can now log in with their registration number and date of birth to see the city, date, and shift allotted for their Computer-Based Test. The slip went live on 24 July 2026 for candidates whose exam falls on 3 August 2026, and RRB is issuing it in batches, roughly ten days ahead of each candidate’s exam date.

The e-Call letter, or admit card, is a separate document. It opens about four days before the exam date, starting 31 July 2026 for the candidates who sit on 3 August 2026, and it carries the full centre address that the city slip does not show. The CBT runs from 3 August 2026 to 21 August 2026 in three shifts a day. Candidates in Assam apply under RRB Guwahati (Northeast Frontier Railway) and will download both documents through the same candidate login.

RRB Group D City Intimation Slip Released

The city intimation slip tells you the city and the date allotted for your CBT, along with the shift, so that you can book travel and accommodation early. It is not the admit card and it cannot be used to enter the exam hall, since that role belongs to the e-Call letter released about four days before the exam.

RRB is not releasing the slip for everyone on one day. It is issued in batches, about ten days before each exam date, so candidates with a later exam date will see a message that the slip is not live yet for their application. After their batch opens, Assam candidates will find it under RRB Guwahati. Through the same login, SC and ST candidates can also download the free second-class rail travel authority.

RRB Group D Shift Timings 2026

The CBT is held in three shifts on each exam day. Gate closing is strict and no candidate is allowed in after the gate closure time printed on the admit card, so plan to reach the centre well before the reporting time.

RRB Group D CBT Exam Pattern 2026

The CBT is an objective test with 100 questions carrying 100 marks. One-third of a mark is deducted for every wrong answer. The subject-wise split is given below.

Aadhaar Verification and Documents to Carry

Prior to admitting candidates into the hall, RRB conducts biometric authentication linked to Aadhaar at the center. If you have not verified your Aadhaar yet, do it in advance by logging in with your credentials on the RRB online application website, and keep your Aadhaar in an unlocked state in the UIDAI system before exam day so that registration goes smoothly.

Carry the following to the examination centre:

• Printed copy of the RRB Group D admit card (e-Call letter).
• Original Aadhaar card or a printout of the e-verified Aadhaar.
• One more original valid photo ID such as Voter ID, PAN, Driving Licence, or Passport.
• Recent passport-size photograph, as instructed on the admit card.
• Self-attested photocopy of the admit card and caste certificate, for SC and ST candidates using the free rail travel authority.

How to Download RRB Group D City Slip and Admit Card?

Both documents open through the same candidate login, so the steps are identical. Only the link changes once the e-Call letter goes live:

1. Open the City Intimation Slip or Admit Card link from the Important Links section below.
2. Select your RRB region. Assam candidates should choose RRB Guwahati.
3. Log in with your Registration Number and Date of Birth or Password, then enter the captcha.
4. Your allotted city, exam date, and shift appear on screen.
5. The admit card opens as a PDF with the centre address and reporting time.
6. Check your name, roll number, exam date, shift, and centre details, then download the file.
7. Print at least two copies of the admit card for exam day.
