NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL), a subsidiary of NTPC Limited, has officially released the recruitment notification under Advertisement No. 03/26 for 34 Manager positions in E-4 Grade across Renewable Energy, Finance, and Land disciplines. NGEL Manager Recruitment 2026 Notification

NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL), India’s leading renewable energy PSU under NTPC Limited, is expanding its footprint to achieve a total installed capacity of 60 GW by 2032. Under Advertisement No. 03/26, NGEL invites online applications from dynamic and experienced executives for regular Manager-level positions across its corporate offices, stations, sites, clusters, joint ventures, and subsidiaries nationwide.

The online application portal was activated on 11 August 2026 at 10:00 AM and will accept submissions until 31 August 2026 up to 06:00 PM. Interested candidates possessing a relevant engineering degree, CA/CMA, or postgraduate qualification along with 10 years of post-qualification experience are encouraged to apply.

A total of 34 vacancies in E-4 Grade are advertised across three management verticals as shown below:

Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

1. Manager – Renewable Energy (RE) (28 Posts):

• Qualification: Full-time Graduate Degree in Engineering (Electrical / Electrical & Electronics / Control & Instrumentation / Civil / Mechanical) with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks from a recognized University or Institution in India.
• Experience Profile: Minimum 10 years of post-qualification executive experience in the Power Sector in a Government, PSU, or reputed Private Organization. Out of this, at least 4 years of working experience must be in Business Development, Engineering, Contracts, Construction, or O&M with Renewable Energy developers having at least 50 MW or more grid-connected Solar, Wind, or BESS projects.

2. Manager – Finance (05 Posts):

• Qualification: CA / CMA (previously ICWA) qualified from a recognized statutory institute in India.
• Experience Profile: Minimum 10 years of post-qualification executive experience (excluding articleship period) in Finance, Accounts, Audit, Taxation, or Financial Management in a Government, PSU, or reputed Private Organization.

3. Manager – Land (01 Post):

• Qualification: Graduate Degree in Engineering / Post Graduate Degree / PG Diploma / MBA or equivalent in relevant discipline with minimum 60% marks from a recognized University/Institution.
• Experience Profile: Minimum 10 years of post-qualification executive experience in the Power/Infrastructure Sector, with at least 4 years in land acquisition, aggregation, revenue coordination, or land management for large-scale grid-connected RE projects.

Age Limit & Relaxations

The maximum upper age limit for all Manager (E-4 Grade) posts is 40 Years as on the closing date of application (31 August 2026).

Category Relaxations in Upper Age Limit:

• SC / ST Candidates: 5 Years relaxation (Up to 45 years where vacancies are reserved).
• OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) Candidates: 3 Years relaxation (Up to 43 years where vacancies are reserved).
• PwBD Candidates: 10 Years relaxation over and above category relaxation.
• Ex-Servicemen: As per Government of India guidelines.

Salary & Pay Scale

Selected candidates will be placed in the E-4 Grade pay scale of ₹70,000 – ₹2,00,000/- (IDA pattern).

In addition to the Basic Pay, selected officers will receive Industrial Dearness Allowance (IDA), House Rent Allowance (HRA) / Company Accommodation, Medical Facilities, Provident Fund, Gratuity, Performance Related Pay (PRP), and other perquisites & benefits as admissible under NGEL rules.

Selection Process

The selection procedure for NGEL Manager Recruitment 2026 involves the following stages:

1. Screening & Shortlisting: Applications will be screened based on academic percentage, qualification relevance, and post-qualification experience length and profile.
2. Written Test / Group Discussion / Personal Interview: Shortlisted candidates may be called for a Personal Interview or a combination of Written Test, Group Discussion, and Interview as decided by NGEL management.
3. Document Verification & Medical Examination: Candidates qualifying the interview stage will undergo original document verification and pre-employment medical fitness checks.
