The High Court of Tripura, Agartala has invited online applications from eligible candidates for direct recruitment to Group-D positions (Peon / Orderly / Guard) in the Family Courts across Tripura under Advertisement No. FC 01/2026.

The online registration link opened on 20 July 2026 at 11:00 AM and will remain active until 10 August 2026 up to 05:00 PM on the official website of the High Court of Tripura (thc.nic.in).

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification: Passed Madhyamik / Secondary School Examination or an equivalent examination from a recognized Board.

Citizenship: Must be a citizen of India.


Age Limit & Relaxations

The candidate must satisfy the age criteria as on 10 August 2026:

  • Minimum Age: 18 Years
  • Maximum Age (UR): 40 Years

Upper Age Relaxations:

  • SC / ST Candidates: 5 Years relaxation (Up to 45 years)
  • Government Servants: 5 Years relaxation
  • Physically Disabled (PwD) Candidates: 5 Years relaxation

Pay Scale & Remuneration

Selected candidates will receive an initial fixed pay of ₹12,000/- per month (which is 75% of the entry-level basic pay of ₹16,000/- in Pay Matrix Level-01 of TSCS (Revised Pay) (First Amendment) Rules, 2018), subject to periodic revisions by the Government of Tripura.

Selection Process & Exam Syllabus

Selection for the Group-D posts will be made through a Written Examination (75 Marks) followed by an Interview / Viva-Voce (25 Marks).

Stage 1: Written Examination (75 Marks | Duration: 2 Hours)

Stage 2: Interview / Viva-Voce (25 Marks)

Candidates shortlisted on the basis of written examination performance will be called for an Interview / Viva-Voce carrying 25 marks.
