Following the initial scrutiny of applications, lists of rejected candidates (1,539 for Paper-I and 800 for Paper-II) have been published. Candidates with rejected status can submit claims and objections with supporting proof on or before 8 September 2026. Simultaneously, all eligible candidates are required to submit their examination district preference through the candidate login portal by 11 September 2026.

• Claims and Objections: Candidates whose applications have been placed under rejected status can raise objections along with valid supporting documents on or before 8 September 2026.
• District Preference Submission: All eligible candidates must log in and submit their preferred examination district on or before 11 September 2026.
• Default Centre Allotment: If a candidate fails to submit their district preference within the stipulated timeline, the examination centre will be assigned automatically based on permanent address or administrative convenience.

Manipur TET 2026 Eligibility Criteria

1. Paper-I (Primary Stage: Classes I to V):

• Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) / 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) / 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
• OR Graduation with a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.

2. Paper-II (Upper Primary Stage: Classes VI to VIII):

• Graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.).
• OR Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year/2-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) / B.Ed. (Special Education).
• OR Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4-year B.El.Ed. / B.A.Ed. / B.Sc.Ed.
• OR Post-Graduation with a minimum of 55% marks and 3-year integrated B.Ed.–M.Ed.

How to Submit Claims / Examination District Preference?

Candidates should follow these steps to check their application status, submit objections, or select district preference:

1. Visit the official Manipur TET portal at tet2026manedus.com.
2. Click on the “Candidate Login” link.
3. Log in using your registered Mobile Number and OTP / Password.
4. View your current application status for Paper-I / Paper-II.
5. If Status is Rejected: Upload valid supporting documents and submit your claim/objection on or before 08.09.2026.
6. If Status is Eligible/Accepted: Proceed to the “District Preference” section, select your preferred examination district, and submit your choice by 11.09.2026.
7. Download and print the confirmation page for your records.
