The Special Teacher Eligibility Test 2026 admit cards have been released, according to the Assam government. On Sunday, June 28, 2026, the written exams for the Lower Primary and Upper Primary levels will be held. Candidates who applied for the Bodo, Garo, Manipuri, or Hmar medium are eligible to take this exam.

Candidates who filled out the form for Paper I or Paper II can download their admit card from the official ASSEB website starting 11:00 AM on 12 June 2026. You will need your Application Number and Password to log in. Keep in mind that you will need to bring both a printed copy of your admit card and a valid photo ID proof to the exam center in order to enter the hall.

Exam Pattern of Special Assam TET 2026

Both Paper I and Paper II have 150 multiple-choice questions, with each question carrying 1 mark, making the total 150 marks. Candidates get 2 hours and 30 minutes to complete the paper. Those who are visually impaired get extra time — 20 minutes for every hour. There is no negative marking for wrong answers. Paper I is meant for those who want to teach at the Lower Primary level, while Paper II is for the Upper Primary level.

Documents and Items to Carry
  1. Candidates must bring a printed copy of their admit card along with one valid government photo ID in physical form. Accepted IDs include Aadhaar card, PAN card, Driving License, or Voter ID. Candidates with disabilities (PwBD) must also carry a certificate from the Competent Authority or District Commissioner, as required. They should arrange this document well before the exam date.
  2. Only a limited number of items are allowed inside the exam hall. These include the printed admit card, photo ID proof, a blue or black ballpoint pen, pencil, scale, eraser, a clear water bottle without any labels, one handkerchief, one plastic card (debit or credit only), driving license, and a small amount of cash.
  3. Mobile phones are strictly not allowed, even if switched off. Smart watches, digital watches, health bands, electronic pens, scanners, Bluetooth devices, earphones, microphones, calculators, pen drives, bits of paper, and any other communication or storage devices are also banned.
  4. Candidates should note that there is no safe storage facility at the exam centre for such banned items. Therefore, they should not bring these items at all to avoid any problems on exam day.
How to Download Special TET Admit Card?
  1. To download your admit card, first click on the Download Admit Card link provided below. This will take you to the official ASSEB website.
  2. Once you are on the admit card page, enter your Application Number and Password that you created during the online registration.
  3. After entering your details, submit the form to view your admit card. Check all the information carefully, including your name, photo, paper type, exam centre, date, and reporting time.
  4. Then download the admit card and print it clearly. Make sure you keep at least one printed copy with you, as you must bring it to the exam centre on the day of the test.
