The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has officially released the e-Admit Card for the National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination (II), 2026. Candidates who submitted online applications for 394 vacancies across the Army, Navy, and Air Force wings of NDA and the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme of the Naval Academy can now download their exam hall tickets. The written examination is scheduled to be conducted on 13 September 2026 (Sunday) in two shifts across test centres nationwide. No paper admit cards will be sent by post; eligible candidates must download and print their e-Admit Cards online from the official website.

UPSC NDA & NA (II) 2026 Exam Schedule

The written examination will be held in two separate sessions on Sunday, 13 September 2026. Candidates must appear for both papers as per the following timetable:

Items to Carry & Exam Day Instructions

Candidates must thoroughly read and adhere to the guidelines printed on the e-Admit Card. The following essentials must be brought to the exam hall:

  • Printed e-Admit Card: A clear printout of the downloaded UPSC NDA e-Admit Card.
  • Original Photo ID Proof: The original valid photo identity card whose number was provided during the online application (such as Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, Passport, PAN Card, or Driving License).
  • Black Ball Point Pen: Candidates must bring good quality Black Ball Point Pens for marking responses on the OMR answer sheet and signing the attendance sheet.
  • Photographs (if required): If the photograph on the admit card is blurred, missing, or lacks the candidate’s name and date of photo capture, bring two identical passport-size photographs along with an original photo ID to the exam hall for each session.
  • Permitted / Prohibited Watches: Simple, ordinary analog wristwatches are permitted. Smartwatches, digital watches, or watches with calculation and communication capabilities are strictly prohibited.

Prohibited Items

  • Mobile phones (even in switched-off mode), pagers, Bluetooth devices, smart wristwatches, calculators, or any electronic equipment are strictly forbidden.
  • Bags, books, notes, loose paper sheets, and other unauthorized materials are not allowed inside the exam building.
  • No facility will be provided at the exam centre for safe custody of personal belongings.

How to Download UPSC NDA Admit Card 2026?

Candidates can download their e-Admit Card from the official UPSC examination portal using their login credentials by following these steps:

  1. Visit the official UPSC website at upsc.gov.in.
  2. Click on the “Admit Cards” section on the homepage and select “E-Admit Cards for various Examinations of UPSC”.
