The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has officially released the recruitment notification for the Common Recruitment Process for Regional Rural Banks XV (CRP RRBs XV). A total of 13,706 indicative vacancies have been announced across 28 participating Regional Rural Banks for the posts of Office Assistant (Multipurpose), Officer Scale I (Assistant Manager), Officer Scale II (Manager), and Officer Scale III (Senior Manager). Assam Gramin Bank alone accounts for 352 vacancies. Eligible graduates can submit their applications online between 1 September 2026 and 21 September 2026.

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must fulfill all eligibility criteria, including educational qualifications and experience, on or before 21 September 2026.
1. Educational Qualifications & Experience
- Office Assistant (Multipurpose): Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University or equivalent. Proficiency in local language is essential; computer knowledge is desirable. No experience required.
- Officer Scale I (Assistant Manager): Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University. Proficiency in local language is essential; computer knowledge is desirable. No experience required.
- Officer Scale II (General Banking Officer): Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks, along with 2 years’ officer experience in a bank or financial institution.
- Officer Scale II (IT Officer): Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Communication, Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent with at least 50% marks, plus 1 year of relevant experience.
- Officer Scale II (Chartered Accountant): Certified Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) with 1 year experience as a Chartered Accountant.
- Officer Scale II (Law Officer): Degree in Law or equivalent with at least 50% marks, plus 2 years of practice as an Advocate or 2 years as a Law Officer in a bank/financial institution.
- Officer Scale II (Treasury Manager): Chartered Accountant or MBA in Finance with 1 year of relevant experience.
- Officer Scale II (Marketing Officer): MBA in Marketing with 1 year of relevant experience.
- Officer Scale II (Agricultural Officer): Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture / Horticulture / Dairy / Animal Husbandry / Forestry / Veterinary Science / Agricultural Engineering / Pisciculture with at least 50% marks, plus 2 years of relevant experience.
- Officer Scale III (Senior Manager): Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks and a minimum of 5 years’ officer experience in a bank or financial institution.

Upper age relaxation: 3 years for OBC/MOBC, 5 years for SC/ST, and 10 years for PwD candidates.
3. Local Language Requirement (Assam)
For Assam Gramin Bank, the prescribed local languages are Assamese, Bengali, and Bodo. Candidates who studied the local language in Class VIII or above will be considered proficient. Selected candidates lacking this requirement may be granted up to 6 months after joining to attain proficiency.

Selection Process & Examination Pattern
- Office Assistant: Preliminary Examination followed by Main Examination. There is no interview round. Final merit is determined solely on Main Exam performance.
- Officer Scale I: Preliminary Examination, Main Examination, and Interview (combined in an 80:20 ratio).
- Officer Scale II & III: Single Online Examination followed by an Interview (combined in an 80:20 ratio).
- Negative Marking: 0.25 (one-fourth) of the marks assigned to a question are deducted for every incorrect response.
